Hobbies: Cars, Hunting, and Fishing
History: Started out in the early 1980's at approx. age of 40 in the Street Stock Division and Pro Street Class. In 1988 won the Pro Street Class at the Chandler Motor Speedway in Chandler, Indiana. Over the last 23 years he has raced at every track in the tri-state area. He has raced at some tracks that are now closed. He always ran the Firebird / Camero body style with the number 96. His last 3 cars were white with blue trim. In 2005 he joined the TSVRA as the Director of Racing on a full-time basis. Currently he drives a 1949 Ford Coupe, number E9, and he has also driven the 1940 Ford Coupe, number 5, and th 1933 Chevy Coupe, number 15. Buck is a mechanic as well as a driver. Buck is also passing on the racing tradition to his grandson, Matt Simon who joined TSVRA in 2006 as a driver.
