History: Started out at age 12 helping out in the Pits
for his Dad, Cecil Moore. Started racing at age 15 with a 1968
Camero (shown below). Raced against well know drivers of the
day like Jeff Pervis, Jerry Imman, Wayne Coakley, Tommy Helfich,
Eddie Pace, Henry Watson, and others. Got out of racing when
his father past away in 1978. He re-emerged in 2000 along with
his son, Michael, and they built the current C7, a 1934 Ford
Coupe. Mike raced the Louisville circuit before starting the
Tri-State Vintage Racing Association with Earl Wilson. At age
49 he is still as competitive as any of the 20 year olds out
there. So if you see him in your rear-view mirror either move
over or prepare to run with the big dogs...
